The Omega Task & The Sea Side Mission
The Omega Task was founded by Ben and Taja in 2013. What began as a pile of dirt and a prayer has grown into a thriving mission base and ministry center that now serves its community in several different ways.
Ben grew up among the coffee farms and was eventually called back to disciple in the very neighborhood where he was raised. Together, Ben and Taja have built a ministry focused on discipleship, outreach, sustainability, and raising up future leaders. Taja leads a prenatal ministry, and together they serve children and youth through Kids Club and youth ministry.
The mission base in Grecia is also home to The Bandola Café, a coffee shop and restaurant that sells its own coffee and helps support the mission. Other ministries, including sewing and quilting classes, have also grown out of the vision to create sustainable opportunities that strengthen both people and community.
Ben’s vision has always been bigger than one location. His heart is to expand into new areas, raise up missionaries and disciples, and build sustainable mission centers that can continue reaching people for generations.

Arise & Build
In July, we took a team to southern Costa Rica and chose one word for that season:
Believe.
We believed God for what we could not yet see.
Now that season has shifted.
We are breaking ground.
The vision for Sea Side Mission is becoming reality, and now it is time to Arise and Build.
“Let us rise up and build.” — Nehemiah 2:18
Sea Side Mission is located in the Golfo Dulce region of southern Costa Rica, surrounded by rainforest, wildlife, and incredible natural beauty. It is one of the most biodiverse areas in the world, home to monkeys, tropical birds, sea turtles, whales, and countless other species.
But beyond its beauty, this land carries a much greater purpose.
The next phase is the construction of a bunkhouse that will provide lodging for future mission teams. From there, the vision is to continue building toward a Worship Center and Mission Training Center where believers can gather, serve, worship, be discipled, and be equipped to go.
Teams are needed to help with construction, outreach, discipleship, prayer, and the many practical needs that come with developing a new mission base.
This ministry began the same way so many works of God begin:
With prayer over the dirt.
With vision before there was evidence.
With faith before there was a building.
And with people willing to say yes.
If we had one word to describe Ben, it would still be:
Faithful.
He can look at an empty piece of land and see more than dirt.
He sees a mission.
He sees people being reached.
He sees disciples being made.
He sees a future that does not exist yet—but one he believes God has already placed in motion.

What's Included:
Airfare
Airfare from your departure city to San Jose, Costa Rica. Economy Class. Upgrades are available upon request.
Accommodations
Accommodations at an Air BnB near the Sea Side Mission site. Generally, bunk beds, queen beds, sofa beds, or mattresses.
Separate rooms will be designated for men and designated for women.
Meals
All meals included except on free days you may be responsible for lunch or dinner. All meals will be cooked and prepared.

Deposit
& Payment Plan
Trip Cost: $1700 per person
Initial Deposit will be $900 to secure your spot. $400 will be due by Jan 1st.

Cut off to book by will be November 15th also.

The remainder will be due two weeks prior to departure and paid in full.

Insurance
requirement
Exodus Travel requires all missionaries to purchase travel insurance.
You will be emailed quotes to choose from. You must pick one.
Cost ranges from $50-$120 and up dependent on your age and your choice of coverage.
These are excellent plans and they cover luggage, flight changes, emergency cancellations, medical, and additionally some have a life insurance policy.
Itinerary
The itinerary can change slightly depending on which days the teams are flying in. A final customized itinerary will be sent to you. This is tentative. Expect the unexpected as things may change.
