Terms and Conditions – Exodus Travel Ministries

Check our terms and conditions: The purchase of any travel service offered by  Exodus Travel Ministries constitutes a contractual arrangement between you and the company and represents your acceptance of the company’s terms and conditions set out here.
Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these terms and conditions before making an actual payment.

General Cancellation Guidelines:

  • All cancellations must be submitted in writing and receive written confirmation from Exodus Travel Ministries to be considered in effect.

  • Cancellations made 60 days or less before the reservation date for FITS (Free Independent Travelers) will incur a 100% charge.

  • Cancellations made 60 days or less before the reservation date for Groups will result in a 100% charge.

  • No-shows will be charged the full 100% value of the reservation.

  • A 10% charge will be applied to cover bank refund fees for all cancellations.

Booking

Booking in advance is essential to guarantee your accommodations on the specific dates you want to travel. Season are divided in Costa Rica as follows:

PEAK SEASONS: December 15th to January 4th / March 15th to April 15th (Easter period) / July 15th to August 15th.

HIGH SEASONS: November 1st to December 14th / January 5th to March 14th / April 16th to April 30th.

GREEN SEASONS: May 1st to July 14th / August 16th to October 31st.

Prepayments and Itinerary Confirmations:

  • The sales department will inform clients about each confirmed itinerary and any mandatory prepayments.

  • Exodus Travel Ministries is not responsible for cancellations in itineraries due to a lack of prepayments. The company reserves the right to cancel all services reserved in case of non-payment.

Providers and Responsibilities:

Exodus Travel Ministries acts as an intermediary between passengers and service providers (hotels, transportation companies, restaurants, local airlines, etc.). Providers meet all necessary requirements to fulfill tourist services.

Refunds and Anticipation:

  • Cancellations for individuals or groups made within 60 days before arrival will not receive a refund.

  • Cancellations made with more than 60 days’ notice will result in an 80% refund of the deposit received. The remaining 20% covers bank refund fees.

Rate Changes and External Factors:

  • Rates are subject to change without notice due to supplier increases or changes in government taxes.

  • Exodus Travel Ministries will not assume additional expenses due to external factors (e.g., strikes, weather conditions) and reserves the right to change or cancel any tour or service without prior notice.

Group Reservations:

  • Full payment for group reservations is required 90 days before clients’ arrival.

  • Cancellations for Tour Groups or Vacation Packages:

    • 90 days or more before arrival: 30% penalty of the total package cost.

    • 60 days to arrival: 100% penalty on the total package cost.

    • Cancellation during the trip: 100% penalty on the total package cost.
